ECC (Easy Clean Coat)

ECC is Nikon’s premium hydrophobic anti-reflective coating and provides excellent scratch resistance and easy to clean hydrophobic properties. The coating’s dense molecular structure seals and smooths out the outer surface of the coating. This causes liquids to bead up and roll off and prevents them from spreading on the surface of the lens. The direct benefit is easier wiping and cleaning.
